Nestled in the heart of Wicklow affectionately known as the “Garden of Ireland” you will find a new name in professional Swiss timepieces, SAS Watch Company ltd.

The SEA-01 is our first diver’s design, a tough modern professional timepiece, designed to be used by any diver from the weekend scuba diver to a professional deep sea saturation diver. Its depth rating of 1000 meters is well in excess of any diver and incorporates a helium escape valve to protect the watch in decompression chambers. But in this modern world a watch has to be a lot more, and it is worn above the surface to, so we have added an antimagnetic shield to protect the movement from magnetic fields which can magnetize the movement causing it to run incorrectly. We wanted to create something that can take abuse in tough environments, but we know you like to relax on your time away from the sea bed and swap the dry suit for a dry martini, so we have incorporated an easy system to change the look of the watch, by simply using the supplied Allen key strap changes are a doddle. By changing the strap from rubber to a nice leather the watch takes on a whole new look, from elegant to casual or tough to sophisticated the SEA-01 has it all.

The “First Edition” divers watch was a huge success and is now totally sold out, this design will live on as a standard production run under the name “Classic” and will remain one of our core designs.

Dubh Linn

Our second watch using the SEA-01 design is aimed at the more tactical personnel.  The watch has been fully coated black in a process known as PVD or Physical vapour deposit. In contrast the lume on the dial is white and the overall look has a more military feel. We have polished the top of the bezel to make the numbers stand out and be visible underwater, after all its primary use is a diver’s watch.

This watch will be known as “Dubh Linn” which is Gaelic for “Black Pool” and is where our capital city Dublin takes its name. Dublin has a long history with sea invaders and was originally a Viking settlement back in the 9^th century and later on it was invaded by the Normans in the 12^th century. Dubh Linn is pronounced Dove Linn

Legends

Our latest models called the Legend series consist of two models, the SEA LEGEND and the DARK LEGEND. We have uses a beautiful sun-brushed blue dial with white lume, and silver hands that really stand out. As with the Dubh Linn both of these come with metal bands and leather straps.

TigerShark
